#SixForSunday; Books I Want To Re-read

#SixForSunday is a cheerful little prompt created by Steph, to view upcoming themes, join in, or see posts from the master of S4S click here.

I suppose this is a bit of an odd one for me to write as I don’t actually re-read books, there are many reasons behind this which I’ve wrapped up in a neat little post to be shared in the near future. BUT if we’re saying gun to my head, no other books exist and I can only re-read 6 titles of my choosing.. then I guess this is what I’d be reading!

IT.

The first Stephen King book I ever read and what a perfect introduction it was. I have doubt this title will ever be outside of my top five favourites.

evelynhardcastle

The 7 Deaths Of Evelyn Hardcastle.

Have I talked about this one enough yet? Though I have solved this mystery once before, the plot was so intricate and the world building so in-depth I’m sure there’d be more to discover in a re-read.

harrypotter

Harry Potter

I do an annual movie marathon, why on earth haven’t I re-read the books?

tim lebbon the silence

The Silence

Words just don’t do justice to how much I enjoyed this book, and now there’s a film too!? Definitely re-read material.

georgesmarvellousmedicine

George’s Marvellous Medicine

I’m waiting patiently for the day my honorary god son is old enough to enjoy me reading this to him. He’s only a baby so I’ve got time to rehearse yet.

aaaaaand

A Christmas Carol

This year is my first Christmas out of retail work! Instead of the annual soul destroying Christmas eve sale set-up I’m going to celebrate my freedom by reading a true Dickensian Christmas classic.
