The Harry Potter Spells Book Tag

First off, thank you to Danielle at TheIntrovertedBookNerd  for my first ever tag. I love all things Harry Potter and was so excited to take part in this! This tag in particular and the beautiful spell graphics were originally created by KimberlyfayeReads

I’ve made a few adjustments to my own post, some spells were just too difficult to match to a book, and others I desperately wanted to include. Harry Potter can be twisted to fit every one of these tags but I’ve purposely chosen not to use any J.K.

Read on to view my choices and be sure to hit the link to enter my Harry Potter swag giveaway before December 1st!

An upcoming release you wish you could get your hands on right now.

I pre-ordered The Book Of Joan by Lidia Yuknavitch ebook in June.

It’s 2018 release cannot come fast enough!

Favourite Series Starter

There were so many contenders for this spot.

I decided to go with one I hadn’t seen popping up elsewhere.

The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau had me enthralled from start to finish . I highly recommend this trilogy.

A book you intentionally spoiled for yourself.

I made the mistake of watching Chuck Palahniuk’s Fight Club before reading it.

Having prior knowledge of the final revelation in this story makes it an entirely different read.

A book or series you wish never ended.

As a constant reader I adore The Dark Tower Series by Stephen King.

I’ve just sat here for 10 minutes trying to write a one-liner of my thoughts and feels on this series but it cannot be done!

Wingardium Leviosa

A book with an uplifting ending or message.

If you follow me on Twitter or have perused this blog you’d have seen this one coming.

I’m forever praising Kathryn Stockett’s The Help a fictional novel on racism in Mississippi, and I love the film adaptation just as much.

A book you wish you could forget you’d ever read.

Fifty Shades Of Grey. E L James. No explanation required.

An Author who’s books always get you out of a slump.

THE KING! Of course.

I pre-order every book in hardback and kindle format.

I watch every tv adaptation, I book ahead for seats at every film premiere.

Stephen King has been my one true author-love since I was fifteen years old. Although JK nips at his heels.

A book that made you want to send it flying.Expelliarmus

The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins, a marmite of the book world.

I HATED it. No apologies.

A book that had you laughing out loud.

Bridget Jones is my go-to when I’m down. Helen Fielding has created such a realistic and relatable character, I find all four novels both empowering and uplifting.

One day perhaps I’ll share with you my own hilariously awkward incident endured whilst reading Mad About The Boy.

A book with a shocking twist or ending.

We Were Liars- E.LockhartStupefy

Apparently a lot of people saw it coming…

I did not!
